With the pending demise of Dunhill tobaccos I would like to know what would be a good replacement for Dunhill Flake and their Dark Flake.

Unless the hoarders have already snatched it up, I think Dunhill Flake is still available. I have plenty on hand so not chasing it anymore. Orlik Golden Slice is similar to Dunhill Flake IMHO. There's only a whisper of Perique in OGS, barely noticeable. I'll have to let others speak to Dark Flake.

IIRC, one of the Capstan blends was a good match. At least for me. Gold or blue can't recall which though.

Capstan Gold is closer to Dunhill Flake than Capstan Blue is.

I ask this now to get an idea on what to look for in the future. Trying to get though a tin of OGS having a hard time getting into it. So I guess during the next year I will have to checkout different Virginia Flakes.

What does Jim know..... Aww, go fry an egg, buddy!!! Now that is an egg! I ate a turkey egg last year... I might fry a big egg, but as for eating... strictly chicken eggs for me.
