My Son is a surgery Tech, is on call today, left for work this morning. Got a text from cousin who is dieing of throat cancer, ( I’m in hospital, couldnt breathe last night) found out they were doing a trach. I asked him what hospital, he says Lafayette General, where my son works, I text my son and tell him about my cousin. I get a text back from Son, “He’s doing good wheeling him into surgery, I held his hand while he went under. Damn the tears in my eyes, What a small world.  |

Just got my flu shot Ron, asked for the God Almighty one, it’s a super duper called Flozone something, big knot on my arm, not too bad but not 100%.

I was supposed to get one last Tuesday, but I was feeling so crappy from the wreck that I put it off. I will probably get one at the drug store next week. Last year I got the old folks triple strength shot and I was sick for 2 weeks. |

Brad, I sent up a prayer for your cousin. Hoping for a good recovery now that his is in hospital.
Been there with pneumonia a couple of times over the past few years. It is a real struggle.

A win-win for your cousin.
When in a hospital setting it is highly advantageous to have a caring member of the family riding herd on it all, to have one in the ER is pure gold and providentially orchestrated, certainly not dumb luck.

My sister died in that hospital. Not their fault, she was very ill for a long time and they took very good care of her.
