I will be in Livonia MI from Jan. 5-10th for business...off each day at 4 PM...if anyone wants to meet up, free cocktails at the hotel I am staying at (smoke free hotel), but I have a balcony suite...probably colder than a freezer for this desert rat to smoke on a balcony... , free transportation to warmer Smokey's Lounge...let me know if you would like to meet up for a smoke. www.yelp.com/biz/livonia-cigar-bar-a-smokys-lounge-livonia-2

Many years ago the wife was working for Comerica and they begged us to move to Detroit but no way Jose. I used to have to go to Fruitland Canada on the other side of the bridge and the difference was night and day. Michigan is a beautiful state but not this time of year unless you have electric chones.

My home state, which I absolutely love.
I remember when I was little, on the news they said "stay inside, if you go out, there is a possibility that your eyeballs could freeze."
The only time I've ever felt weather colder than Michigan is when I went up to Massachusetts a few years back during the several blizzards they had.
I hold Michigan dear to me, I'd move back in a heart beat.
Desert to snow? Good luck friend!
