Hi all; After falling again and not hurting to badly after 20 min, of trying to get up I thought of a saying that was popular in the Nam era. Especially in the special forces. It is when hurting to Eat THE pain, can any of you tell me how to do this? I am getting so tired of being in pain all the time. Ive tried many pain killers including Morphine with little or no results, so im thinking outside the box, if this makes sense to you. Thank you for your responses. HERMAN

Eating the pain...simply means to deal with it...you need to see your Dr. and get some proper meds for your particular issue.

I haven't any idea how bad your pain is but, I deal with pain everyday and I find concentrating on something else, a hobby, conversation, etc. helps a lot most the time but, there are times nothing works to eliminate it and I just have to put my big boy britches on and grin and bare it. If your pain is extreme all the time and meds aint work'en I do what Walt suggested, go see your doctor or find a good one, that'll be half the battle cause most nowadays are too busy thinking up ways of sucking your wallet dry to give a hoot in hell about your problem, specially if its pain management.

Here in Carolina there doctors who specialize in finding the cause and the management of pain..Probably in your area as well.

Why of gods green earth are your daughters not letting you try CBD's? Goodness...
CBD is benign with minimal side effects. Anti inflammatory and pain management. My wife has arthritis BAD and it's the only thing that seems to help her hands.
I work in and around this business. Not just spouting opinions. You want a FULL SPECTRUM CBD with 20-25mg dose. Canabis derived has a more powerful effect for pain relief. Hemp is fine as well, but not quite as effective. Neither has enough THC to make you feel high. That's not what CBD is for.
Hemp derived CBD is legal in all 50 states.

That would make the sentence mean the exact opposite, and in line with what you're suggesting.

I have had 32 falls in the past 5 years with severe pain issues, I get total pain relief with marijuana, zero side effects unlike those evil pharmaceuticals.

I wish that I could offer advice Herman, I have been blessed with good health...I have had occupational injuries that I recovered from and am pain free, but that is nowhere in the realm with what you are dealing with..I wish you the best, and thank you for your service.

HERMAN Ive been dealing with chronic pain for years.. I'm an old man. Prayer and especially meditation has worked the best for me. I also see a physical therapist who does chakra massage.... Amazing. You can PM me if you want to know more, I am not trying to advertise for her, although she is amazing. Theres many all over the country you can see. UPS

Herman, I can't offer much better advice than you have above, but if you own your own home ,you might look for programs like "Silver Nest" where you rent a room to someone who needs a home , and in turn you have someone for company and added safety. I don't know how the screening process works ,but you could find that out on line...might be a win/win for a cheap home for one, and a safe home for another.

Lucky, I've had to combine it with other mainstream pharmaceuticals. But my cocktail allows me to at least enjoy a movie, or a conversation over a pipe. Which is good enough for me.

I truly wish I could help or at least offer something that might give you some relief. I have tried just about everything. Chronic pain is something most doctors are no longer willing to address in any meaningful way. They are so scared of the current opioid paranoia and being sued they will not prescribe them for patients who are desperate and in true need of them. Because of the unfortunate dummies who will abuse any drug that gets them high those in true need do without and suffer. I guess I will try marijuana next. Its illegal even for medicinal purposes in my state but plentiful none the less. I had rather be a Stoner than an honest citizen who can't button his own shirt.

Just an FYI - not pushing anything nor trying to get into a political argument.
I haven't taken a pain pill in 3 months. What changed? Nevada passed a ballot initiative.
Chronic back pain for 10 yrs. I used to go weeks without getting more than 5 hrs of sleep a night. Missed lots of work, fun and family. NO MORE missing out on life for me. I said WTH and am not looking back.

I used to go weeks without getting more than 5 hrs of sleep a night. Missed lots of work, fun and family. NO MORE missing out on life for me. I said WTH and am not looking back. My sis in law was having chronic back pain and her doctor recommended that she get Turmeric from Costco as all are not created equal. You will have to copy and paste the link...it is too long for the form to hotlink it.www.costco.com/youtheory-turmeric-1,000-mg.,-180-capsules.product.100411695.html She took it and her back pain went away, so did my wife and hers went away...( They are identical twins, when one finds a "cure" it always seems to work for the other.)I had backaches for awhile...took this stuff and they went away...ran out of Turmeric and backaches came back...after a few days of taking Turmeric backaches went away. Mind you that my backaches are not the kind that are debilitating by any measure...but this might work for some...this stuff goes on sale regularly at Costco, that would be the time to stock up if it works for a person.

Thank-you to all; I consider every body here my friends and at 72 I don't have many left. I will try the Turmeric and also the CBD oil, NOT at the same time. Thanks again. Herman
