I feel for you Larry. Last week my wife got a bladder infection, and about 3 days ago I picked up some intestinal bug. Family had prime rib and smoked ham, of which I had none! No appetite at all. Got some leftovers in the fridge I might get into later if I start feeling better.

Wow, must be the year for it. My wife wasn't feeling well all day either, my girls stepped in and cooked. We had a nice ham dinner, but my dear wife ate only some asparagus and a bit of potatoes.

I did fine health wise, but our three year old granddaughter was miserable with a fever and cold the four days she was here. She really tried hard to have a good time but you could tell she felt awful. She made a trip to the doc on Monday with little apparent effect. I'm guessing at least one of the family will end up with the same thing, but you never know. I know I sure felt sorry for her and her mamma. Other than that, our holidays were great; two kids plus their spouses, three grandkids, four extra dogs for a total of six. It was a bit chaotic most of the time! But fun.

I'm surprised that we've missed the bug this year. Norovirus has been going around, but so far we've managed to avoid it.
I hope all who have been inflicted are feeling better soon.

That was me last year. Bladder infection and kidney infection shut down Thanksgiving to Christmas. Hospitalized. Sick. The year before it was pneumonia. So, I was happy to not be sick this season. Of course, by now, everyone forgot about me and I was alone for most the of the time. Had a nice Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so I am content.

I managed to avoid sickness over the holidays this year. A speedy recovery to all that were caught by the big.

Haven't been sick, fortunately, but may have to get tested to see if I can be an organ donor for my brother...may be saying goodbye to a kidney...it is a matter of life or death.
