This is what I’m currently smoking and thought I’d give a quick review. First I find it lights easily for a rubbed out flake, smokes to a fine grey ash and its one dimensional from start to finish. That can be a good thing if you don’t like thinking to much about a tobacco and just enjoy it. It tastes to me earthy, leathery and dark, maybe coco like with a topping of rum. Not bad at all and I believe the fine tobacco shines through. The nicotine level is medium and the aroma is maybe not suitable for indoor smoking but I’m fortunate that I can smoke indoors.
I don’t mind it at all and the more I smoke it the more satisfying it gets if that makes any sense. I know this is not a sophisticated review but I hope it helps👍
Kind regards Gig

Thanks Gig! One of my favorite Peterson's tobacco. I detect a little Lakeland influence in the blend, and I don't consider that a bad thing. Quite a nice smoke.

Hey Gig, here's how messed up I am about pipe smoking. I came across this Comoy's second stamped Hyde Park, and had to have it just to smoke that tobacco. It's a nice little Lovat with some beautiful birdseye grain, and I use it most of the time for smoking Hyde Park, but not always. (don't want you to think I'm totally crazy) Keep it smokey!

That is a nice pipe. They really did everything right (that I can see) on that one. Stem is great, stain and finish is great. Color me impressed by Comoy's.

Glad you're enjoying the Hyde Park, Gig. My favorite Peterson is Old Dublin. It's a wonderful evening smoke. Latakia strong English.

That definitely is a beautiful pipe and the name of it was just the excuse to buy it for the matching tobacco. LOL I would of done the same thing
