Greetings fellow pipe smokers! We trust that you have had a great Christmas, and are eager to start the New Year....2019 was a great year as far as club growth goes, and we are hoping that the trend continues into 2021. Pipe Club meeting: Saturday, January 11th at 1 PM, Big Sticks Fine Cigars.
As typically is the case, our Pipe Club meeting will take place on the second Saturday of the month which is January 11th, on that day in history in the year 1864, Charing Cross Railway Station opened in London, an area that has had a rich history of many pipe shops and tobacconists that are legendary. Sadly most are gone, but Segar and Snuff still operates.... ...and Greg Pease still continues to produce a blend by that name, a blend not spoken of much, but is a great Balkan blend in it's own right. So to start the New Year, we will dedicate the first meeting to the great tobacconists of Charing Cross. Pipe night will take place on: Wednesday, January 22nd, at 5 PM
We hope to see you there, have a safe and Happy New Year, and may the coming year allow you to Prosper in health, wisdom, and good fortune. The Arizona Pipe Club

I plan on driving up early to spend a hour or so at YeOlde before the meeting. I hope the Vikings game will on the TV.

I'm in the east valley or I'd meet you there. I'll see you at the meeting instead.

Another pleasant afternoon spent in great company, good to see the crowd grow and still maintain the usual miscreants too!

I’m sorry that I didn’t see you scoot out Dan, it was good to see you. No problem, Charlie. I looked for you but saw that you were engaged. The only drawback to the wonderful turnout!

A great observation Larry, I noticed Russ's Bowler cap and a few flatcaps but there were several wearing classy looking caps...it really hearkens back to a time when a pipe and a nice looking hat went hand in hand with a gentleman...and I can say without hesitation that these are true gentlemen...we are a fortunate pipe club in that regard, hat or no hat.
