After much discussion among the administrators of The Briar Patch we decided to address the following topics and refresh them for posting in the new calendar year. This will make for a neater topic and, hopefully, greater participation.
All this came about from a post by one of our members suggesting such a move and it made great sense to us.
The What are You Smoking thread will continue to be on a monthly basis as it seems to work well for everyone.

I suggested that the admins should pony up, and fly us all out to an all expenses paid Carribean resort that doesn't have a smoking ban...how was that received in the discussions, John?
