Happy New Year Patchers .... DGT Sam’s Awesome Burley Mix in a Peterson bent rhodesian. I smoked about half of this pipe from 11 to 12am. I just relit it, so I’m going to say this isn’t my first pipe of the new year.

Happy New Year 2020, best of wishes for you and your families, ''keep on puffing'' my fellow pipe smokers! Glad to see the Greeks still keeping Christmas stuff up in January. Its not over until after the Epiphany! Americans are mostly taking their stuff down soon after December 26 these days. A bit sad. Anyway, Happy New Year!

I'm finally going to have my first pipe of 2020 in just a minute. I plan to have a bowl of Mac B Medium English, If I find my dwindling supply doesn't fill the bowl I'll top it with # 10 Downing.

I've spent the whole first day of twenty twenty with one pipe and one tobacco, the pipe is a lovely Design Berlin , a hexagon of very dark walnut stained panels on a pipe of lighter walnut color, enhanced with a silver ring. The tobacco is a crossover blend called Triple Crown ,from Milan tobacconist, and the pair are a heavenly match that has made a nice day even nicer... Happy New year Patchers!!

C&D Orient Express (I’m a buyer and a cellar! Pun Alert) in the Malaga Author. This stuff is amazing and makes me rethink my bias against C&D.

C&D Black Duck in the Peterson 150 Shannon bulldog with a vulcanite stem. Photographed: Mud Crab (Scylla serrata). I used to these for sale in the markets all over SE Asia. I know I've eaten their meat at least once or twice.
