usual Sunday brunch by the time wifie makes her appearance (9:30 am in Eastern Zone now). 4 lg eggs, mangled ham slices & some x-sharp cheddar pieces. Two platefuls of scrambled mess in "griddle" part of GeoForeman grill. Our drinks...decaf for wife, cocoa for me. All Keurig k-cups. Couple English muffins after. by time that's done & dishes soaking...snoozie time. Old as we are, a "good" habit. Got in my 2-miles exercise earlier Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY Wow... sounds wonderful Ed! What time would you like the rest of us over? |

A small El Monterey Breakfast Burrito with last night's baked Idaho russet sliced and fried in peanut oil. The Idaho Russets being sold in Taos are the "Simplot" thin skinned, low moisture, French Fry potatoes. No the Baker spuds we are used to. I guess the nationwide demand for French Fries is down and they have to go to the home market. These are good for frying and they a good Mash if boiled. I am happy to get them.

Updating the Navy Beans and ham shanks with more stock, spinach, chard, Parsley, diced cook potatoes, and more diced ham shanks. Partly pureed. Nice soup.

The wife put chicken breasts, potatoes and green beans in an oven pan. Covered it with cream of chicken soap and baked it.
Turned out very good.

Actually, BLT sandwiches, then a walk to Starbucks for a peppermint mocha. Maybe not exciting, but we got to enjoy the sunshine before the clouds rolled back in.
