KBV 1x Yoshimi's Robo Burlesque 1x The Patience of Dr. Silence Just ordered Patience of Dr Silence myself, along with a couple of other KBV blends. Priority mail is now taking 2 weeks. Seems to be hung up somewhere in Memphis. Gotta thank our new postal director for really screwing things up.

I'm just getting into the world of smoking pipes, so I needed to jump start my options on what to smoke. I currently have a couple house blends from my local shop, but I just made an order for 16 different tins to try and explore. They are as follows: Peterson Early Morning Peterson My Mixture 965 Peterson Nightcap Peterson Elizabethan Mixture Cornell & diehl Bayou Morning FLake Orlik Golden SLiced Peterson De Luxe Navy Roll MacBaren Navy Flake Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding Cornell & Diehl Opening Night McConnell's Latakia Flake Presbyterian Mixture Peterson Flake Cornell & Diehl Star of the Est Flake Sutliff Crumble Kake Va Perique MacBaren HH Rustica I probably (almost certainly) went overboard, but I hope it'll give me an idea of what I like so I can start buying that blend in larger quantities for the future. Later Y'all! Jhatt87 That's pretty nice, what did the wife say?

Finally got sick of tinkering with my order - supposed to have some Orlik Golden Sliced, HH Burley Flake [ very excited for this one ] , and some Pease Sixpence. The reviews for Sixpence seemed legit and the other Pease blends I've tried were phenomenal so why not. I've had Gaslight, some aged Stonehenge, and Quiet Nights.

I think if you're a pipe smoker and a fan of Sherlock Holmes, a Peterson Sherlock Holmes is indispensable. It doesn't matter if you actually like Peterson or not. Myself, I am not a fan but what the heck, they honored the great detective? So be it. I received a Baker Street and she is some sexy.

Nuttens just re-loaded and I picked up this little sweetie of a Bing... love his pipes. One of my favorite carvers. I'm not sure if he has someone doing his stummels, but the end result is really nice.

Got in my boots fron ebay. Been wearing Tony Lamas for years, but they just dont hold up any more. A lot of China work.
Found a good price on my first pair of Lucchese boots. They sure are comfortable. Time will tell if they hold up, however.

That's pretty nice, what did the wife say? Is it me or we haven't heard from him over the last few days? I'd say he's keeping a low profile. Whoops, sorry. I was away in the mountains backpacking for a week and couldn't get online to post. I cracked open the Early Morning Pipe and Plum Pudding. I really like the EMP, very nice and light smoke. The PP is smokier than I expected, I need at least a few more bowls to decide what I think. My wife knows I spent a good bit of money, but shes very gracious and never said a word. I'm trying to decide what to open next!

First order in a while, but Sammy G does that to me.
More SJF & FVF for the cellar Bothy and Firedance because I've tried neither 1 pound C&D Poplar Camp C&D whatever they named the Christmas one. Just for the collection. Solani 660 Silver Flake.

That's what I do as well when a big parcel is due to arrive. It gives my wife time to cool off.

Got Air pods in the mail from my employer, a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue, and a Yeti cup for trucker appreciation week. I was reminded that the Johnnie Walker cannot be consumed 10 hours before work. The Air pods are pretty amazing.
