The Lizzie Blood Red sounds intriguing. Have you had this blend before? I've had it. It's mostly a Virginia from what I can tell. I personally don't like it, but better people than I really like it. Wilkes has 2 Lizzie Blood Red blends: Lizzie Blood Red English ( Black Cavendish, Burley, Latakia, Perique, Virginia) Lizzie Blood Red Virginia (Perique, Virginia) Maybe you tried the latter. The Lizzie Blood Red English appears to be new. JimInks is the only person to do a review - on 8/24/2020. In his review he says he helped in the creation of this blend.

Medico bulldog meerschaum with 14k gold band. Didn’t need any work other then a pipecleaner thru the steam. Whoever owned this before me took good care of it. I need to buff the stem on the pioneer will post pics of that when I’m done.

The Lizzie Blood Red sounds intriguing. Have you had this blend before? No. Thought I'd give it a try since I like almost everything I get from Wilkes. On TobaccoReviews.com, there's only 1 review for Lizzie Blood Red English. But it's by JimInks - and in the review he says he helped in the creation of this blend. He gives it a 4/4. Haven't tried the Surbrug's 71st Street before either. The Cherry Cavendish is very good. The Black Raspberry is good too. It really has a black raspberry taste and the taste is fairly strong. A review of the Lizzie Blood Red would be appreciated once you’ve had a bowl. I assume the blend is named after Lizzie Borden? Just a thought?

The hometown of Lizzie Borden. The 71st Street is very good, as is the cherry.

Man I don't know. I don't think I can purchase tobacco online anymore in my state. Sigh. Think I need to try some different online stores and see what I can come up with.

The LBR is the only one that I don't care for out of a dozen that I have tried. #191 is a blend that everyone should try, as is #515. #400 is the best English I've had. #515 is in Jiminks top 5 favorite tobaccos. And it was smoked by Basil Rathbone! 😁

The sin capital of the USA and you can't buy tobacco! What next? Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

It is what it is Ron. Having said that,I scored on a Benton from eBay yesterday. This time it’s coming from Florida. Good luck with your painting conundrum.

Man I don't know. I don't think I can purchase tobacco online anymore in my state. Sigh. Think I need to try some different online stores and see what I can come up with. Ok Kevin (crusty cat), what’s going on? the state of Nevada has decided to Levy a 30% excise tax on all tobacco products, it's kind of funny, they only Levy a 10% excise tax on marijuana. But you know it's all to save the children. I think most of the online vape companies won't send in Nevada anymore, there's a big cigar store in Vegas that won't ship to Nevada anymore, but I was able to make a purchase from famous smoke. So maybe the larger companies don't care about Nevada's law and will continue to send stuff. I don't know, fingers crossed.

I ordered a pound of LL-7 and a pound of PS LBF. I have never had LL-7, but the LBF is a winner. Tip: Portion it out in half pint jars for cellaring, you will be rewarded with a tremendous smoke.

My lost Peterson pipe from Italy finally arrived today a month overdue. As I’ve already received a refund from EBay, contacted the seller directly requesting an invoice/bill to finalize this transaction. It’s the right thing to do.

Contacted the seller in Italy, after getting my refund from eBay, as my purchase was a month overdue and presumably lost. Asked him to send me a bill via PayPal so I can pay him thinking it’s the right thing to do. I forwarded the funds in USD minus $3 PayPal service fee thinking everything is good. He sent me a message requesting an additional 10 Euros because it’s not enough! As the agreement was in USD, and I payed him in kind, I’m shaking my head because he thinks I should absorb their current crappy exchange rate. So much for being a gentleman.

It's really unfortunate that, despite you still wanting to pay him after receiving the refund, he is asking for more and making an annoying situation even worse. Good for you for wanting to pay the guy and not have the "not my problem" attitude that quite a few people have. I would be very irritated right now if I were you!

Having said that, SG has a blend called “Sherlock Holmes.” Have you or anyone else on this forum tried it? Cheers brother....👍
