Charlie from the patch THANK YOU. Charlie sent me a box of goodies today when I came home from work I got to open it up one can Jackknife a tin of Cringle Flake a tin of Crumble Kake and a tin of Dunhill Standard Mixture Medium all a big treat. Sample of GH happy brown, Arago Balkcan supreme, Dunhill Ye olde, Danny kaye, Haunted bookshop, Savinelli English murtare? Not sure if I spelled that one right. HH vintage syrian, Hearth and Home Blackhouse, PS proper English and a brand new cob. This is forum has a great group of guys! Thank you. WOW... that’s awesome! Charlie is the man! That’s the beauty of this site... it’s guys like Charlie, and others, who keep paying it forward! Every single blend from Wilke is a "must try". The LBR is the only one that I don't care for out of a dozen that I have tried. #191 is a blend that everyone should try, as is #515. #400 is the best English I've had. #515 is in Jiminks top 5 favorite tobaccos. And it was smoked by Basil Rathbone! 😁 Thanks for the heads up Ron. More tobacco to be added to my “must try” list. Besides if it’s good enough for Sherlock HoLmes, it’s good enough for me. Having said that, SG has a blend called “Sherlock Holmes.” Have you or anyone else on this forum tried it? Cheers brother....👍 Why smoke a copy when you can smoke the real thing?  |

Flake 2 tins 3p 1 tin dan tobacco liberty HH ODF ready rubbed 8oz. PS proper english 4oz PS LTF 8oz and Sutliff Virginia Slices. All that and only got two of the tobaccos that Charlie sent me samples of. We got lucky Charlie. List has helped by those on the nightly chat thank you

Hopefully a new lighter. I bought what I thought was a decent one off eBay only to fall apart on the golf course. The flint literally fell apart. Grrrr.......

Hopefully a new lighter. I bought what I thought was a decent one off eBay only to fall apart on the golf course. The flint literally fell apart. Grrrr....... Ordered a Zippo lighter this time. Hopefully it won’t fall apart like the last one. Sadly, had to use a torch lighter after the previous one fell apart golfing today. I cringed every time I used it over my pipe. |
