Nova G3 lathe chuck arrives tomorrow, and a drill chuck for the tail-stock by Friday. Then I can stop making wood chips out of scrap and start making good stuff on the lathe!

Did you get the briar jaws from VF? Cant afford them yet. So I'm working with stock jaws for now. (Or should I say will be) I do have the VF jaws on my wish list for a future order though! |

That does look tasty! I've only had one rope style smoke and it was courtesy of Isett. Happy Brown or something. Brown bogey? Idk it was tasty though.

ITS HERE!!!!! My chuck arrived! Now I work for the next 4 hours anticipating opening the box and using my new chuck.

Shweetie bought me a replacement wedding ring for my birthday, I lost my original one years ago. This one is a beautiful black titanium with inlaid koa wood. Im not a jewelry man, but it blew me away. Unfortunately, it was too big, and she had to send it back to be resized. Its supposed to be back in today or tomorrow.
Im not the type of guy women chase after if not wearing a wedding band, but I guess Shweetie wants to be sure. She dont want lose me. 😁
Cant wear rings in a lot of work, its a good way to loose a finger...or worse. That's how I lost the old one. I took it off on a job before I lost a finger. But this new one came with a black silicone band for daily wear, I guess it's supposed to just snap off if it gets hung up. My oldest son, a firefighter, wears a silicone wedding band.
The things they come up with these days.
