Today it's warm for these parts (64 degrees) considering that it's less than a week since that fat rodent saw his shadow.I took advantage of the opportunity to for the first time in weeks to sit on the porch drink some coffee and smoke a bowl.A brief relief from these short cold winter days.It sure felt good..I can't get too excited though.More cold is on the way.Several more weeks of winter to yet deal with.

I spent the day in my "shop" which is carport with tarps hung over the sides, and it was quite pleasant for February, just a flannel shirt and jeans. I was able to bring 5 stems to near completion in this group of ten. Finish the stems tomorrow and then on to final stain and finish. Will post some when I get around to photos. A couple of weeks ago the temperature dropped into the teens and my hands were aching all the time, even with 2 23,000 btu heaters going, so I got a couple,of overhead infra red heaters for the work area and wouldn't you know it, the weather got warm. Oh well, we are expecting snow later this week, so I will, probably need all the heat I can get. Still, it was pleasant today, and spring will eventually get here. DocAitch
