There are a number of factors why Clemson lost. Clearly...this was far from their best performance of the year. Yep...Lawrence overthrew / underthrew...but it happens. But blaming him is like blaming the goalie in hockey. There are, and are always more factors. Most of all...it was because LSU was the better team last night.
Best of all time? That's a debate I'll leave to others. ;-)

I'd go with "best this year". And last year. And maybe the past ten years. Clemson wouldn't have beaten the 2009 Bama. Clemson did not have the DB's or d-line to match up with LSU. Ohio State would have been a much closer game. Woulda, shoulda, coulda. |

Catching up on threads late here... but congrats to ya'll LSU fans... and this is coming from a Gator... this LSU team was one of the finest I have ever seen and did the SEC very proud... love Coach O and Burrow... in a lot of ways the our best Gator game this year was our loss to you lol, just hanging with that team for three quarters felt like a win...
