As the title states, my baby girl Jenni turned 21 today. Seems like just yesterday (ok, ok Feb 2008) that we were at our last Father Daughter dance.... Today we had lunch together @ our favorite Pop and Mousie cafe. (Pop=Me, Mousie=Jenni) the Villager. So, now it's time to pack up the ol suitcase and take her, her brothers and her mom to Disney World tomorrow. It'll be the first time we've all been back since 2005. That means that my wife and I get to spend the next 4 days with our favorite people... (We might be just a tad bit biased) ;-)

A very pretty young lady, Dino. The years just race by and I'm sure she has a great future to look forward to.

My baby girl turned 27 in November. As it's been aptly stated, life is a vapor.
Congrats, Dino! I know you'll be enjoying that trip together.

It seems like I can't possibly be 77 years old,but I am..My son turned 55 a few weeks ago..I remember the night he was born like it was a few days ago..The years are rolling by a lot faster than it seems like they should be.

My daughter is over 20 years old. I still remember when she was around 9. She had her hands on her hips and was telling me that I needed to grow up!

Quick update.
Just got home from our Disney World Whirlwind trip a few hours ago.
The boys have already made it back home to their apartment in Raleigh.
The baby girl is still on the road about 1 hour from her apartment in Boone. (she has classes tomorrow morning)
So, I'm sitting here in the mancave, smoking a pipe and impatiently awaiting her phone call that she's safe and sound in her home away from home.
Thanks for all the kind words fellas. It's been a bitter sweet time for me. So very proud of all of my kids. Blondie and I really are enjoyin bein emptynesters. But we sure enjoy spending time with our youngins.

Wait till the grandcritters come along Dino...in a sense, I dreaded it thinking that would mark my entrance into old buzzard status. Quite the opposite, I am enjoying it immensely... it sounds like you have a few years to get there. Having a great wife and productive kids, definitely make for a great ride. A loose hold on the reins, enjoy the ride.

I know this thread was about my baby girl, but the boys and I had a great time in Disney World this past weekend as well... We arrived there last Friday. That evening Jenni wanted to have her Birthday Dinner @ the T-Rex Restaurant. She had an Angry Orchard Apple Cider with dinner. The boys and I of course had Beer. While the girls were shopping the thousands of shops in Disney Springs the boys and I found Sosa's Family Cigar shop and lounge.... As it turned out, we went there every day while we were there this past weekend. ;-)
