I have noticed that the denicool crystals take away some of the flavor of the tobacco. Has anyone else noticed it?

I usually put a one or two in the bowl for the wetter tobaccos and haven't noticed any major loss of flavor so far.

I use them in some pipes. Maybe the first couple of puffs are muted, but then the bowl usually smokes to ash.

I haven't noticed any effect on the flavor. I only use them on wetter tobaccos.
