KBV Burlier Morning Pipe in an anonymous bent Dublin with a plateau rim and worn out vulcanite stem. That was the last of that bag. Fortunately I correctly surmised I would enjoy it and bought two bags. All is well for now.

I've been wondering about that one … what's your take on it? Lightly aromatic?

The aromaticness (Is that a word?) is closer to medium than mild. However, it does not sublimate the Burley (thankfully). I’m not sure if you will like it. If you like I can send you a sample?

Thanks much for the offer but I kind of figured it was flavored and just wanted your opinion as we are Brothers in Burley.

As I'm sermonizing on the patio on a 64 degree winter day, I'm finishing up a bowl of PS LBF in a Radice Rind Billiard w/faux bamboo shank. I'll be moving on to some Red Rapparee in a '49 Dunhill LB F/T. I find it quite satisfying to be smoking a pipe that is older than am I, especially at my advanced age!

Another rainy cold dreary day here in the pines... Blondie had to work today, so I found myself goin a little stir crazy this afternoon. What to do?
Why, go down to the B&M of course.
Great choice on my part. Ran into half a dozen of my fellow cigar buddies all enjoyin a stogie, drinkin a beer and watchin golf. So, I hopped right in started off with a Leaf By Oscar Sumatran. Then a buddy handed me a Cuban Serie de no. 5. Finally an Arturo Fuento 858 to finish things off.
This evening, after dinner with Blondie, I've made my way back up to the mancave, poured a sizeable dram of Buffalo Trace and have stoked up my first bowl of the evening.... Black Cavendish in my large Sandblast Rossi Canadian.
So here I sit puffin an iconic blend, sippin bourbon and watching Canerodpiper pay homage to Matches 860.

For a special occasion Superbowl weekend, I have enjoyed...
Tibacco: SG Cabbies Mixture from 2013..
Pip: Randy Wiley Patina freehand 1994 Grade 55 with a nice deep yet relatively narrow bowl....It never disappoints with VaPers or Virginias.

Breaking in another of the NOS Heritage pipes; the Antique 01 with F&P Winter’s Tale 1999. The Zulu (3rd down from the upper left) is a nearly 60 year old brand new pipe!
