I thought this was cute so I bring it here..It's about changing times..Here Goes..A hundred years ago every one had a horse and only rich folks had a car..Now every one has a car and only rich folks have horses.

For perspective, I was negotiating just last night with a lady over a horse she wants to sell me. He's a big, stout 9 year old (prime age for a working horse) Quarter Horse that is full broke, has worked cattle and been roped off of a little bit. She wants $3,000.00 for him. My wife found a used Kia Sadona mini-van yesterday in excellent condition that she wants...also for $3,000.00. There has to be a lesson in that somewhere... |

A worn out horse and a worn out Chinese van are worth the same amount? But when the van dies you can donate it and get the tax deduction, not so sure about the horse. Ive made $3,000.00 to $4,000.00 a month from the back of a horse. It sure beats the hell out of sitting in an RV park and bitching at the world. People are killed by horses...and cars...and choking on potatoe chips...and heart attacks from sitting too much in front of their tv's because they are afraid of going out and...getting killed. You gotta lighten up. |
