Yup, been over that bridge a hundred times heading East. Isn't that the bridge they used to close once a year and let people bungee jump? EDIT: Answered my own question. yep! still going strong, despite the accidental deaths. |

The summer of 1986 I was 1 year out of highschool and in a 1976 Chevy Vega stationwagon headed from Texas to Alaska on the Alcan highway. I remember almost 500 miles of 30mph gravel/mud road somewhere in the middle of NW Canada. I dont have pictures, my mom has 'em all.

In 86 I was 44 years years old.There were a lot going on in my life..We has bought a 30 year old house and were in the process of updating it.I went on a different job for the folks I worked for..That required that I take a public speaking course.I went to school for 6 weeks to learn about office machines..Computers,different kinds of printers,and copy machines..Of course all of that is long obsolete now..Here I am now pecking away on this lap top depending on spell check,and a dictionary to get through this post.

I was,.......... my own. Ron, I like the hat. Thank you sir, that ole 5X Resistol was with me for a long time, it finally got so many holes in it I had to lay'er to rest and got a new one about 20 years ago. Haven't wore it much since I retired but, have been thinking about brush'en er off and wearing it again.
