Rec’d my second briar today. Shipped from Denmark. Profundity to have this pipe. The makers name is Børge Blume-Jensen Has anyone had dealings with him? He seems to be a fine pipe maker

Haven't dealt with the maker, but that's one stout looking pipe. Doubles as a self defense tool, all while looking gorgeous, nice snag!

Looks like a well-made, well-finished pipe. Nice grain, too. Enjoy.

Congrats on that beauty. BBJ is a very good carver. Back when he was getting established, he received some guidance and critique from Jess Chonowitsch, Kjeld Sørensen and Tom Eltang; if you have the attention of THOSE guys, you're doing very well. BBJ has been making pipes since the mid 1990's and makes 80 or so pipes per year. Look at the other examples of his work on Pipedia...very nice stuff.
