Seen that yesterday. Thought it looked like a hefty horse's sack, but each to his own right?
I like mine with a little bit more "pipe" than "art".

I like a lot of Anne Julie's work, but that one doesn't work for me at all. However, I'm one of those who doesn't like ANY figural pipe (human / animal / body part), nor buildings / scenery...so I'm likely a bit biased. This one is not in the running for most ugly...it's actually gorgeous. i.pinimg.com/564x/10/0b/f6/100bf6a39ebee445ebde19156e25b245.jpg But like the Anne Julie example...why a pipe, and not just a carving for display? It's gigantic and ornate; I can't imagine someone actually smoking it. As they say...to each his own. |

Anne Julie makes some beautiful pipes.
However, this is not one of them. (IMO)

I reckon ya have to appreciate what went into creating it, a lot of hours and I would dare most anyone to try and do it (not counting Steven Downie).
I don't care for the colors on that piece, I think it should have been left natural and it would have looked much better.
If ya think about it, it's no different then my BLUE pipe, the shape is good but, the color doesn't agree with everyone.
Some people are going to like it and some are not, and I'm glad we're all different, I would hate to live on a planet with a billion me's
or a billion you's.
