OK..It's not snowing a lot..Maybe an inch or two.It only snows 2 or 3 times a year here though so it's a bit of a deal when it does..There was a run on the food stores this morning..Every one in a panic afraid they were going to starve in the next day or two, which is how long it will take the snow to melt..I lived in Michigan for a lot of years so I know a bit about what real snow is..This is pretty funny to me..Us old folks gotta get our entertainment some place though.

I remember when it "Snowed" in Charleston SC while I was stationed there. I grew up in Southern oregon where we had 2 feet of snow for about a month out of every year. The light dusting we got in Charleston was laughable. Of course the dumb young buck in me decided I knew what I was doing behind the wheel in spite of the fact I never drove in it back home...
Fortunately all it took was my light rear ended Chevy S-10 to start slipping in a gentle turn for me to wisen up. (Rarity for me back then actually...)

Larry...we have that in common. I was born in Detroit and lived in MI for 44 years worth of winters before moving to SC in 2007. I love it when we get the rare snow, which may be once per year...or once every 3 or 5 years.

That's about the frequency we get snow in Ireland. And even when we do get it it's only an inch or two and it's normally gone by the following day.
We get the odd exception to that, but very rarely.

Being from England and growing up in Wales, I also know a bit about snow. We got stuck in our house for a week once when a huge snowdrift covered the front door, which opened out. It's pretty funny to see all the cars in ditches here in Dallas when we get maybe, an inch of snow. You have grown adults in their yards trying to build snowmen. The most wrecks I actually saw happen in one day was seven. None were serious, but the body shops were busy.
