Over the last week I have stumbled onto a few lucky finds. A co-worker gave me a spare Zippo pipe insert he had laying around. I went to Walmart to pickup the cheapest Zippo I could find so I could use the case, it was marked at $14, but rang up at $2.50, and the lady just shrugged and kept ringing stuff up. Zippo pipe lighter for $2.50, works for me.
Saturday we hit a local thrift shop because my daughter had gotten an email saying it was half off everything day, wound up finding a new drying plate, one of those 8 inch, 3 section, glass plates for $1.50, and a pair of solid scotch glasses for $1.25.
So now I just need some scotch, and I'll be all set to dry some tobacco, fire up a pipe, and enjoy a tasty libation. And at this point, I'm only out $6.25.
