Penny Farthing in a shop pot. Is that any good? I've been thinking about picking up a few tins to try out.

Penny Farthing in a shop pot. Is that any good? I've been thinking about picking up a few tins to try out. I like it. First, it's shag, which is a huge plus. Second, it's tasty. The DF kind of overwhelms a little, which it typically does, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I have two tins, and will definitely buy more when this open tin runs out.

Reached for RDPipes lovat and 2013 Escudo again this morning, thank you Ron for this fantastic combination. I honestly can't say enough good things about this pipe, I haven't let it out of my sight since you handed it to me. Also brought along a little Old Ironsides in my Rattray's Goblin 99 for lunch today, looking forward to that.

Just smoked a bowl of my usual butternut burley and now filling the same pipe with Cinnamon roll...the pipe, you ask...of course it is my new bulldog by Ron of RdPipes...a wonderful smoker, a beauty to hold in my hand...I could smoke this pipe all day long and not yearn for another.

I am pissed that RDpipes are all the rage now and I don't have one. Or a Cramptholomew. I can console myself that I have a bunch of great pipes that smoke just fine, including the PSF 2017 POY Savinelli Canadian, currently filled with Plum Pudding. Coffee on the side.

Enjoying some Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake in a MM Morgan cob. It's a beautiful New England afternoon. Took the day to spend some time with our 5yo German Shepherd, and a 13yo English Setter we recently adopted from a friend who can no longer care for him.

Ron, if I had the money I would surely place you at the top of the list of folks I would like to enjoy the total bliss of having a pipe made by Ron of RdPipes.....or one made by Cramps, too. Both are great pipes, both wonderful folk who make something that gives such pleasure. Presently, B.B. Alamo in a bent brandy made by Ron of RdPipes.

Thanks, but I REALLY don't need another pipe. I have over 200, and at least 60 of them are "world class". I have more perfect smoking pipes than I can smoke. Just complaining because I can. 😁🤠

Enjoying that Mac Baren black blend 7 Seas again in my Peterson spigot XL02 that I was fortunate to pick up in the Peterson Dublin shop a few years ago. This blend favors this pipe, or maybe the other way around. Either way, good day, friends.

The ''desk" generals told to soldiers that after so many days of bombing nothing could left alive from the enemy, the charge would be like a walk with a stick and the first one will take a barrel of beer and a ball to play with his platoon. A captured prisoner inform them that the germans were alive in their bankers and singing while waiting for them but the ''wise'' generals launch the attack at 7.30am broad daylight, the result: even the fence wire was almost intact and the machine guns waiting, 57,470 casualties at 1st day in Somme. I am watching the film: The Trench (1999) while smoking Dan Pipe Jubilee 30. "The ones that give the orders are not the ones that die" ''Our Blood, his Medals'' Midway (2019) film based on the Attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent Battle of Midway during World War II. The Intelligence officer (and a Navy director too) were pipe smoking in that film which ''as always'' had some exaggerations and historical mistakes. Samuel Gawith Perfection.
