Ours are just starting to bloom, along with the Baby's Breath and the red buds. Out in the country we saw a lot of flowering crab apples and pears.

I enjoyed azelas when I grew up in FL. In IL, we had some snow on the ground yesterday. Today is in the 50s.

That's gorgeous. I'm useless in the garden. I can barely keep weeds alive. We have managed to kill cactus plants in the desert. If commercial farming ever hits the skids, we will be hurtin for certain. |

I'm pretty sure the worst is behind us and looking like an early spring. It was pretty mild up here this winter so I was pretty happy with that but am awaiting spring and summer. I did notice my tiger lily's peeking out and my maples are full of buds so spring is coming soon. |

It's said that it can frost here in Carolina until mid April.That's when farmers usually plant above ground plants.I don't think that applies to trees and bushes though.
