Same here; Costco is even out of toilet paper. I don't know who decided THAT would be the critical supply, or why lol. It's all comical, in the sense that the containment ship sailed weeks ago. We have a novel virus (meaning no one has immunity to it) out in the community, with an R0 above 1. We're ALL going to get it at some point... Exactly right. The sooner the better.

I have had bronchitis and/or pneumonia each year since 2013. This was the first winter I was spared. Probably the vaccinations last year and this year. I wish respitaroy illness on no one, save one of two.

Wife picked up some soda by her work and said HEB was still cleaned out of bottled water and what not. We had no trouble getting paper towels and Claritin but we do shop a fair bit away from the big city. I have never been a hand sanitizer person but i do keep Fast Orange wipes around, you know stuff to clean your hands. We also picked up some Chuck Norris water because Chuck Norris is bad arse and nothing can hurt him.

Got up early, Buddy had an accident on blanket in his cage, let him out, put blanket on porch. Made coffee. Yesterday wife picked up meds, then Walmart, she said all cleaning supplies gone, wanted big jug of Clorox, no deal, but found 3 small bottles, got those. It’s started, gangway for the frenzy. Wife getting root canal this morning, no joy for her. I’m drinking coffee and watching Exxon stock Slip Slideingb Away as the song goes.

Kroger was sold out of hand sanitizer and most household disinfectant. Plenty of water and toilet paper. My pneumonia shot is making me feel like I have pneumonia, but it's wearing off.

I had my son-in-law pick me up another 1.75ml bottle of Buffalo Trace Kentucky Bourbon on his way out here from NC. Now THAT is how you sanitize. Shweetie had a bad cold about 3 weeks ago, and after I fixed her a toddy one night and she was able to sleep, she was back every night looking for another 'till the cold was gone. It too 3 days.

Wife & I went grocery shopping yesterday and walked down the isle where soap & hand cleaner was & hand cleaner shelf was empty. There was a teenaged boy, a bit frumpy in front of the shelf. As we passed he said he didn't know why everyone was buying hand sanitizer, said it didn't make any sense because it didn't do anything against corona.. Was apparent he had autism or something like that. He sounded just like Rain Man. Talked to him, got a kick out of him, made more sense than most. Was with his Mom & at the check-out was enlightening others about other things. Bless him.

I do not know. I mostly used soap and water. I do have a bottle of Everclear on hand for emergencies.

All cash goes in a ziplock bag until I get it home and I put it in a bucket with a hole cut out to fit my ozone generator and I run it for 20 min. to sanitize the cash. I also run the ozone for 30 mins. a day in the house. I don't know if this will work but have to try something.

One of my doctors told me, a few weeks ago, that hand santizers are alcohol based. Alcohol is not much good against viruses. Fine for bacteria. Hot water and soap is what is wanted for viruses. Norton works well. That's because they create the viruses, that's cheating! Anyone can get rid of a virus if they are the ones that created it

I repair restaurant equipment and around half my customers pay cash and the rest by check. I even throw the checks in also. And to think the worst thing I used to worry about was getting E-coli or Salmonilla from the stuff I work on.

How about Legionairs Disease? 😁🤠 The Legionairs is mostly in A/C and I don't get into that. I never had a desire to worry about peoples comfort level. I'm pretty good at HVAC but stay with repairing my own and my neighbors.

I was checking our liquor cabinet stock the other day and stumbled on an almost full bottle of Everclear. Luckily, that mixed with some plain old aloe vera gel is homemade hand sanitizer. I'm all set.
The hand sanitizer hoarding is ridiculous though. Very frustrating.

I rarely use hand sanitizer. Well, unless I'm in a bacterial breeding ground such as the grocery store. However, I've always washed my hands frequently and practice good hygiene.
The virus is real, but we've had other, more serious ones with higher infection rates and deaths.
It's out of control and the more "news" you watch, the worse off you are.

I stopped watching the news because what they know is not consistent from day to day or channel to channel. I already know to wash my hands and create a clean living environment.

The upside is, if I don't need more hand sanitizer, I'm setup for a good time!!

It's the aftershave, not the cologne, that makes a good sanitizer. Higher alcohol content.

Perhaps a bath in Pinaud Clubman is in order as it keeps people away from you.
