This year’s show is May 1-3, at the Westin in Itasca, IL. Same weekend, different location We have a minimum number of room rentals, so we need attendees to stay at the Westin. This is about the survival of the show. Please make reservations asap. We need donations for the silent auction, again, this is about the survival of the show. The Westin is located at the junction of three expressways and is close to O’Hare Airport. Please attend the free Friday night banquet for future show announcements. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We have had less than three months to put the show together under the most pressing of circumstances. How do we direct donations? We use a silent auction to help fund the show. People or vendors donate pipe related items to be auctioned off. For example, if you see a pipe at the auction, you make the first bid, or you bid higher than the existing bid. This continues until the time is over. Then the highest bidder for the pipe pays for his new pipe. If you have more questions, you could Message me, or just ask your questions on this thread.

I think he’s asking where to send a donation for the auction.

I think he’s asking where to send a donation for the auction. Correct-a-mundo! I can't make it to this year's show but want to be able to go to future shows. So, I'm happy to chip in! PM me as necessary. Cheers!

That Chicago Pipe Club has been through some pretty heroic episodes, and what they've accomplished for this year's is most bodacious.

Really happy to hear this. And Westins are quite nice hotels. I'm hoping this is a big success. For me, Chicago will be too far to go this year as I have a couple of surgeries coming up. Nothing too serious, hip and cataracts. But it will limit my travel. But I'm glad the show found a home thanks to the hard work of a group of folks.
