Quirky or Me? I know a lot might say it's just me but, it aint.......I don't think?
This is what it is and its happened 3 times now, I post a photo to Instagram on my PC, I add a brief description and then tags and click "share". I either look at it afterwards or later only to find that the only dadburn thing that shows up is the photo. I then add the missing elements via "Post" and it won't let me till I remove one "Tag". What in tar-nation is going on? Anyone?  |

Many programs no longer work properly in IE 11 is that is the case.. I have to move on to IE 11 but hold on because of the Outlook mail and most of the Outlook apps look and terrible. I no longer have Google because Micronuts does enough analysis on me as is.

NO MS Internet Exploder here sir, never used it, I use Vivaldi Browser as its the only one I can use to post etc. on Instagram, otherwise I use Firefox for everything else on a Win7 machine. Sadly I believe Instagram was designed primarily for the cockamamie cellphone so I have to use a work around. Big business I think is trying to get rid of the need for home PC's and make everyone carry a POS cellphone. Thank GOD! I only have a few more years ta go, I don't want to be here when the $@&?! hits the fan.

Instagram has a limit of 30 hashtags for one post by one author. If you use more, the description is automatically deleted. Count your tags  |

Although I think there's a limit counting the tags and post and that would explain why when I have a longer post then usual it won't post and leaves it completely blank. 
The real pisser is that it won't let you know on your initial post until you look at it afterwards to find its blank. But, if you add the post later it won't post, letting you know somethings wrong.

Instagram will also do that if you have a link in your bio they don't like. Try changing it or deleting it temporarily and see if that fixes it?
Maybe try deleting App Data / App Storage / App Cache from within the Settings –> Applications –> Instagram?
Note I've never used or even seen Instagram, just trying to help.
