Gallaher was around a long time and a aged tin of Virginia is probably downright tasty unless the evil pinhole got to the tin. Hard to date without seeing the tin and no UPC bar code could mean pre 1974.

If its just the screw off type I'd Smoke it, if breaking a seal, damaging the packaging or wrapper by opening it, I'd just leave it alone.

It is listed at TR, but they have no pictures, and no reviews. www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/5127/gallaher-limited-gallahers-three-crowns-tobaccoI would pop it and smoke it, and I would smoke it quickly. I have come to the conclusion that when I have an old tin, I get most enjoyment out of opening it up at the pipe club so we can all enjoy it.... a really old tin that hits fresh air can age quickly... and not in a good way, that is why it is best smoked quickly.

I would smoke it. No sense keeping it sealed, you can always keep the empty tin. Jiminks would love to have a sample for review if you decide you can spare a couple of bowls.

Since he is a buddy, if I ever get something of this nature, I very well might ship him the tin so that he can post a review after a few bowls and ship it back.

Thank you all for your help. yes I will need to break the seal to open. trying to send from here is asking for trouble from customs and a fine. regards. imgur.com/7kejSVG
