The old Rothschild adage applies today ... "Buy when there is blood in the streets, even if some of it is your own."
Anyone taking advantage? What are you watching / buying?
Here's a couple that I grabbed up from the energy sector: USO, XLE

Going to buy, but waiting for what I feel is the right moment. I think things are still going to get worse for the economy. Hope I don't come across as a greedy capitalist.

The stock price for the company that my company works for tanked and we bought some as a low price gamble. If they stay afloat the price has nowhere to go but up. HCR.

Do you feel the DOW will dip under 17,000? I've been waiting for this "correction" for quite some time and feel it's been needed.

We'll see a lot of back and forth for a while, up and down. If we see a significant increase in covid cases, god forbid, it will. California governor is directing everyone in state to stay indoors now, excepting essential workers. If more states do that, it will definitely go down. But I think we'll definitely hit 18k at some point. That's when I figure to buy , unless we're still on a downward spiral... Always a crap shoot, isn't it. I do believe though that once we are past this virus, we'll see a huge long growth spurt.

I was all in value stocks, high dividend and low PE, so I am still making money even though the prices are way down. I can wait for a long while to do anything.

If he keeps talking, it may get down to 10,000.

If these prices are still available come Monday, I'm getting a lot more shares of XLE ... great SPDR with dividends!
The DOW has needed a "correction" down to about 18ish for quite some time now, IMHO.
