I just read that the FBI has reported that last month..March..There were 3.7 million requests for background checks..That's the most in any month since background checks started in 1998.

Yeah, Ive got a .44mag in at my ffl, been waiting for a return on my background check for over a week. Washington is about the worst for that.

They are kind of jammed up and not supposed to be congregating at offices.

I thought all of that was done via a phone call. Usually only takes 10 minutes.

I thought all of that was done via a phone call. Usually only takes 10 minutes. Except in Washington. We have new, draconian state gun laws. Its being challenged in court, but for now...😖

A lot of places where I live are posting signs on their doors...No weapons of any kind allowed. I try to avoid places that post that. Here is AZ its illegal to carry anywhere posted. I cant not go in sometimes, but I generally try to go places that allow me to carry, or at least don't post not to. Of course right now I don't go anywhere anyhow so...

If you enter a business that is posted as a prohibited place to carry, it does not carry the force of the law. If for some reason, a proprietor sees your weapon, he can ask you to leave and you have to do so or you are subject to to trespassing violation. Quite often, stores do not follow the law on proper signage and rules, rendering their attempts null and void...many think that hanging a gun buster sign turns them into the local sheriff. These people are doing the Lord's work. www.azcdl.org/

Thanks for that Charlie, I was always taught that you are automatically trespassing if its properly posted. Also, I do not have a CCW, I never spent the money for it even though from what I've been told my military background is all I really need. I carry by the constitutional carry law we have, which is a little different in some respects to an actual CCW.
