I seem to have a problem and it's that all my stems are getting marred up because I clench pretty often and I suppose my teeth are pretty sharp because its ruining my poor stems. I'm going to order some of those rubber bits to put on my mouthpieces.. however how can I replace all these stems? They're all different sized and shaped.

If you don't have holes, you can clean them up. Otherwise, figure on spending a lot of money on new stems. A lot of forums out there are for pipemakers and could help. Also, YouTube videos.

I'm probably being a bit fussy they dont all need replaced, but at least one does and it's a no name briar. The only markings on the pipe are Imported Straight Grain

The only markings on the pipe are Imported Straight Grain I bought a couple of boxes of old stems from eBay and I have used them to repair several pipes. If you don't care how they look its pretty easy. Here is a Butz Choquin Calabash with a GBD Perspex stem.

Cheap pipes are a hard call on stems. If you send them out it costs more than the pipe is worth. If you can fit a tenon to the pipe you can do them yourself. Lots of videos/instruction on how to do it. Ron and bonanza gave great places.

The problem is, you're going to have to fit the tenon to the shank mortise, which means turning down the tenon. I'd suppose a tenon turning tool would work in a drill press, but they're, like, $70. Then you'll have to make the outer diameter fit to the shank. I'd imagine it's pretty difficult work to get it right. I've only ever made stems from scratch, for newly made pipes, so I may be missing something with working premades to fit, but I think I'm right when I say "it ain't easy". I think Ronv69 idea of a stem-lot from eBay might be the best bet. Unless you have to tools to muck with premade blanks, then I'd try to find something else that fits.

You'd be surprised how many pipes share stem sizes. I have fixed 6 pipes out of the twenty old stems, and most of them would pass inspection by a non pipe enthusiast. They all smoke fine. I looked into making a stem from a blank, but as Cramptholomew said, the stem turner is $$$. Now the BC above was well worth a re-stem, I was very happy with the way it came out.

All good suggestions. Then there is stem patching...where you patch bad tooth "dents" or holes. This is one alternative to replacing them.
