So for some time now, I have read how you all have talked about Cramps pipes. Last fall I caved in to peer pressure and reached out to him about a commission. I told him, I would like a Blowfish. He told me, he had never made one, but was up to the challenge. I told him he had artistic license and to do as he liked and he could take as long as he wanted. As we know life happens and gets in the way. He made contact with me regularly to tell me what was going on, and sorry for the delay. I reminded him I was in to rush. (Don’t harass the artist/craftsman, when they are working). He kept me updated all along.’ First he sent a picture of his workshop. And the materials he had found to make my pipe. I thought that was interesting.I assume since it was a blowfish, thats what the fish food is for? then a few days ago. He sent me the tracking number. It arrived today. And all I can say is. The man is a Master! He is SO thoughtful. He even sent a Kleenex, because he knew I would weep with joy, when I saw it! Jason, you are Awesome!

The biggest problem is, it’s 37F and Really windy and we don’t smoke in the house. So it’s going to be a decoration on the bookshelf for a few days😮😕

Haha, I'm glad you like it! Caveat: that is my workshop. I admit it. I like fish food in my coffee.

Wow, that’s a beautiful pipe! Congratulations and enjoy! Loved Cramp’s humor along the way too. To be clear, Charlie embellished a little, like the pictures of my shop and supplies. But, I DID put the stem in a Kleenex, so it wouldn't ding up the stummel in the bag. I never ship a pipe with the stem attached. I had a bad experience earlier on. I really do appreciate his creative license though. Nothing's as uplifting as some good humor. One day I'll make a post about the story of what chasingembers did to me. I almost had a legitimate heart attack. Like, legit. Edit: I just posted it. thebriarpatchforum.com/thread/8397/chasingembers-santa-pipe
