The wife and I needed a new screen door on the sliding patio door. The years had taken their toll on our slider with the Mastiff/ Dane and the American bulldog carrying out their nonsense when a cat happened in the yard. We are going to replace the slider in the next year so shelling out $250 for a screen door didn't sound like something we wanted to do.
The wife came up with a great solution, a Velcro attachment on the outer sides, magnets in the middle automatically seal it when walking through, we have had it for a month and it works flawlessly, and it has been tested and approved by forces over in the sandbox, it costed us $40.00...I prefer it over a slider, if the weather is cool enough the dog goes in and out on his own.
