This afternoon - Westminster Blueberry Brandy - in a "new" pipe (new to me) I picked up cheap on Ebay - a Jobey Shellmoor 300. Looks like all the pipe needs is a little cleaning and buffing. Will the real wizard please stand up Lol Welcome to the patch. Nice looking pipe, kinda looks like my GBD Granitan 549

On today's episode of trying things I used to love is Peter Stokkebye Proper English.
I'm not expecting this to go well, so I'm taking another pipe of Astleys 44 with me

Finishing up the Carolina Red Flake with Perique that I started earlier. This stuff sucks. I'm sorry, but what a disaster. It's like black pepper and serious suckage. Does anyone even try these things before they get released? JUST MY OPINION! :-D

Moved on from that putrid, acrid, utter failure of a blend (Carolina Red Flake with Perique). Director's Cut in a shop pipe. Now THIS is good stuff. Thanks isett2860!!!

So my new habit is to smoke a big huge bowl of Billy Budd Blonde, and follow it with another large bowl of BBB, and finally, a small bowl of CULT Abacus. If the two BBBs are a meal, then the Abacus is sort of the postprandial tawny port. The digestif.
Seriously, this is really something special to do. I have done this enough times that I line them up before hand. I load up two big bowled Neerup churchwardens with BBB, and then one of my nose burners, or even one of my clay pipes, with Abacus. Two Blondes in a row and I am kind of done, but still want a little something. Abacus just provides that kind of finality to the evening.

P.S.Cinnamon blend, in a 3 star bent billiard from Pipes By Lee, a gift from my in-laws that's been well smoked and well loved for nearly 40 years now. The last of the evening coffee is here beside me.

Nobody seems to have it - and 1 place says it is no longer available. Has it been discontinued?

I bought 8 ozs of it because I was afraid they would stop making it. I know it's a holiday blend, but I smoke it 9 months a year. I love it.

usual 2-miles power walks done, no-band 6x42 for company way earlier. Back from routine blood-work. Next up, feed the Ed, then '06 daVinci in old SamMartin freehand & continue with the papers.
39, now light but steady rain.
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY "up yours" to global warming my thoughts. Last year at this time, already in shorts/tee & doing yard work & hanging clothes on the line.

I really liked your Shellcraft pipe in the post above.I have one much like it, but the plastic screw type tennon makes the airflow so poor that I've only smoked it a few times, and just a few days ago I was showing it to someone and the tennon/connector fell in half...I'm sending it off for a makeover!

I bought this estate L’ Anatra a few years back. you can clench it, but your jaw will get tired. It has some weight. Not sure if this is the original stem or not. But it’s a great smoker. I just don’t reach for it often. Why? It came complete with a friendly ghost. Not a bad ghost, just a strong ghost. Someone loved their Aro’s! So 100 bags of pipe cleaners and a bottle of Ever clear (JK) And 2 salt treatments later. Casper is still in residence. So if you can’t beat them, Join them. So starting off the morning with my Newly dedicated KBV Burley Morning Pipe pipe!

Some Scottish Mixture in my new Comoys Everyman shipped all the way from BrunoT! Thank you ! I believe a few smokes of this mixture will rid it of the perfume taste. Great - dry - smoke though. Easy to clench and a large bowl. I like it alot.

Just a pinch of Vintage Syrian in the Bertram 60 billiard. I logged in mostly just to let people know Im alive and safe. I havent been on much lately because I have had to cut way back due to health reasons. Ill be in and out, however. And I might have some special posts coming up. Just some things I thought are interesting enough to share. Take care and stay safe, UPS.
