Beautiful day outside, and I'm just in from running the weed-eater,having some diet ginger ale,and a bowl of Colonial Pastime in the little bent Lord Billiard...seems like I'm repeating myself, but lately I seem to discover much more flavor in the tobaccos if I stick to one blend and one pipe, with just a pipe cleaner in between, per day that is... still, I'm as much a tobacco tart as everyone here, and by the end of the day ,I'll be eyeballing something different.

Well...so much for "one blend, one pipe"...I'm smoking Reiner's golden flake in a new to me Rosslare 408; I know some guys like to look at a new pipe, and hold it ,and think about it before they smoke it; hell!
I still had tape stuck to my hand when I fired this bad boy up!

I bought some straight burley a while ago and topped it with some whiskey I had around. Trying it tonight. It's okay.

A wee bit more Reiner's #71, this morning, in the new 408. This blend is very bright, and the citrus not puts me in mind of GLP's Ciro...the Ciro is more complex however, where this seems a tad one sided... It's top notch leaf, and tasty too, but pricey ,unless you look at the cost of Marlboros these days, thank goodness i gave those up long ago. Having Hot coffee ,as usual, but I think this blend would work very well with hot tea and a bit of lemon.
