Hubby was a lucky man Maggie. By a strange twist of fait, one of my drill sergeants became my platoon sergeant two years after basic. Great experience few ever experience. |

Our Valentines Day was supposed to be dinner with two couples that we are friends with. Of course we get there and the number had ballooned to 11 people.
In typical fashion, our friend Alex can't do anything without turning it into a monstrous social event. I pray for patience in these situations, because the alternative is stabbing him with a dull spoon.

lol. I can sympathize. This is precisely why we typically don't go out on Valentine's Day. However, this year we were passing Tudor's (a local chain of home cooking restaraunts) and the parking lot was empty, so we stopped and had a nice quiet dinner there.
