I'm a casual pipe smoker looking for a place with a good atmosphere, I'm glad to see that this place is politics and religion free; hope to have a good time. (Is discussing philosophy allowed? Just wondering).

Welcome from SW Kansas. Philosophy gets you pretty close to religion in some discussions but usually not that close to politics. You'll find your share of closed and open minded folks around here, just like anywhere else, depending of course on the topic. I find pipes and tobacco are fairly safe:)

Long time enjoying heavy English, loads of Latakia,Orientals. In humor, most likely "seniority" here. (couple yrs short of 30yrs on the railroad where seniority was everything. Was Reagan-ized back in '89). Enjoy your visits
