At times when I’m doing stuff and smoking a bowl, I sometimes do mindless inhaling while I go around the house doing other mindless things. Trying to not make it a habit. What about you guys?

I think being a former cigarette smoker leads me to inhale sometimes out of habit. But nowadays my all day blends are pretty potent so I inhale less often. Usually at least 1 puff of a bowl goes all the way back on accident though.. trying to break that habit myself.

I believe that the former cigarette smokers do more than the non cig smoker, as they chase the dragon.
I am sure that I inhale trace amounts, but I do not inhale pipe or cigar tobacco.

I do quite often as well as retrohaling. Haven't found a blend that I found uncomfortable to do it with.

I can inhale most without problem, doesn't choke me up or anything it feels quite natural but.. for some reason Haunted Bookshop really packs a wallop when inhaled.

Not if I can help it. It happens sometimes, but I very rarely smoke while Im active for that very reason. Pipes and cigars are a point of relaxing, pondering and unwinding for me, so I rarely have an issue with it.

I retrohale for flavor, especially with oriental blends. Absolutely can not inhale anything into my lungs though; on the rare occasion when I screw up and accidentally inhale, say if I had a little residual smoke remaining in my sinuses from a retrohale and then breathe, I cough up a lung, choke for several minutes.
I assume we all inevitably inhale trace amounts of smoke, but I think it must be really really trace, based on how violent my reaction is to the slightest detectable amount of smoke in my lungs and the fact that I typically feel fine after an entire smoke. If I *am* inhaling smoke every time I have a pipe, it's gotta be damn near undetectable quantities.

I "inhaled" once or twice, by accident, when I picked up the pipe. It was terrible. I haven't done that again.
As a teen, I only took two puffs on a cigarette. I had to take the second one, to confirm it really was that awful.

Ex cigarette smoker, bad lungs, pipe & cigars only for the last 12?? years, do not intentionally to but cigars are easier to by accident.

I inhale lighter blends without coughing (I'm an ex-cigarette smoker as well so this may be a reason; I also dabbled in vaping but it never caught on for me). I find a mild "throat hit" is satisfying.
