hey so last time i did a post of where i was at i was still stuck basically in aromatics. since then i have tried a few different tobaccos (it's hard to try a lot in Australia because the prices are so high, as i'm sure you know). Elizabethan mixture was one thing I tried that kinda changed the way I tasted tobacco... encouraged me to puff more gently to get the nicest flavour from the tobacco. Now I'm onto the Old Dark Fired which i really love but think next I will try some Bold Kentucky as I seem to have a thing for Kentucky but could handle something a little stronger. As far as English's go I've tried a few including MM965 and Nightcap... i love nightcap for a while but kinda got a bit tired of smoking it almost every day... now I'm onto Squadron Leader and that suits me much more... I love it how it's more Virginia forward. As far a aromatics go I just finished up a tin of Blood Red Moon which i adored... and for my morning smoke (which is generally an aromatic) I'm going to try some Lane BCA. Anyway that's where i'm at atm... piping is a lot of fun.. still loving trying new things. Any suggestions would be welcome.

You seem to be doing well enough on your own. At least you found a better cherry blend than that danged Borkum Riff. 😜ðŸ¤

I agree with Ron, it seems like the journey that you are on, is a pretty well thought out one.
And that certainly has a chilling effect on availability of blends over there, that we take for granted, I wish it wasn't so for your sake.
