I have Stanwell HCA pipe where the churchwarden stem was lost years ago, i did enjoy the option of using the church warden stem so i would like to find someone here that can make me a stem for that pipe. I have a Kirk Bosi pipe with a church warden stem that i really dont like that much and it is oxidized as well.. i would like someone to make me a regular sized stem for the bosi and see if the current stem can be cleaned up.. so there it is... 2 new stem and one cleaned up. send me a message if you can do this and estimated cost. Thanks, Mike

There are a few that come to mind. I would tag them to alert them to this, but I would be afraid to leave anyone out.

I've used Briarville several times but Ric retired and sold the company to his lead technician. That being said, I would expect good work from the new owner. I've also heard good things about Cook's Fine Pipe Works and Norwoods Pipe Repair.

DO NOT USE NORWOODS!!! Are you looking for top notch work or just something that will pass smoke? I think the guy at Walker repair gets a lot of good pub (different than the forever stem place). If you just want smoke to pass thru I will give it a try. I have been cutting my teeth on stems and am starting to get better but would not sell my services at this time. They would just be the molded pre made things fitted to your pipes. You would have to pay for shipping both ways. Any more $$ would need to wait until you get them back for inspection.

Anthony, at Cook's Fine Pipe Works did some amazing stem work for me on a couple of restorations. I'm assuming his from scratch work is as good. If you want to look at the before/after pics, go to his website www.cooksfinepipeworks.com/ Look under the My Work section and my two pipes are on the top row, the Sasieni Four Dot and the Dunhill Shell. His work was reasonably priced and he was easy to work with. He is the only one I've used for this extensive level of work.

Walker has retired I believe the Walker repair is different than the Forever stem crew. Correct me if I am wrong.
