My wife and I have a friend whose a nurse.She comes by our house once a month or so just to check on us old folks..Today she took time out of her morning to visit us..She wanted to talk to us about how we could improve our chances of staying safe in these troubling times..Some folks just see a job as a way to make money..This lady and thousands more like her working in the medical field are putting their safety in jeopardy because they are dedicated to helping other..They deserve our utmost respect,and much more money than they get.
Nurses for the most part are good human beings, like the one who caught me smoking my pipe in the janitors closet when I was in the Navy, she overlooked it, ot the one who crashed my beer and cheeseburger party my buddies secretly gave me after a very bad wreck that almost killed my wife. The best one was in S Asia who gave me the best drugs I ever had after I was wounded. Or the ones who came into my room after cancer surgery and looked and laughed as I ,On the mix up of flowers Exxon had sent, I had a black wreath saying so sorry, the poor family who got a bouquet saying GET WELL, Rich man I knew called people like these 20$ an hr people, thank God there’s more 20$ an hr than Rich Fucks.
