I finally broke down and bought me a 2-torch butane insert for my zippo. Although I prefer matches, I just couldnt fight the wind anymore. Like most things we resist, once I finally moved over to a modern solution to an old problem, I wondered why I didnt do this sooner.
I still mostly use matches for my pipes (I keep a large box of kitchen matches in my truck), but this torch has sure rendered my cigar time aggrevation free.

Let us know how you like it.
I just bought a Zippo and a 2 burner insert. Unbeknownst to me, a friend bought me a Zippo and a single burner insert at the same time as a very generous gift.
I'm carrying the two burner as part of my EDC, single burner in a messenger bag I keep spare pew pews in amongst other things, thought I still like my pipes with my Kilibri (two 1990's Old Boy Coronas are to be sent off for repair once Covid-19 stops making us soft in the brain).

I like it very much. I get much cleaner light-ups with it, especially outside in the wind. Which is usually where I am. I do have to keep a couple cans of butane stashed around, like in my truck and in my go-bag. But its well worth it.
