Couple of firsts here. One, first hand-milled metal ferrule. Second, first true army mount stem. Third, first prince- esque shape. It's not finished, but it's coming along OK. Could this possibly lead to silver work?

Did you make the ferrule on a metal lathe?

Commissioned cutty. Juma stem with faux ivory and dark pink ebonite. I've been fighting a string of blocks with fatal flaws. Doesn't matter what vendor. Bad pits and sometimes cracks. I wonder if they've reached the bottom of the barrel, since no one was shipping during Covid. This one took 4 blocks. I'm working on a poker for BrunoT , and I'm on my 4th block with that one. Anyway, this is a nice pipe. Absolutely gorgeous Jason! Well done you!👊😁

Thanks, guys. This has been a fun, sometimes frustrating, journey. Rewarding, always though.

I whipped this up between last night and tonight. Spent any spare time I had on it. Came out pretty good. I was making MY OWN SELF a pipe, which I haven't done in quite awhile. Haven't decided if it is mine, though, yet. you deserve one for yourself. Tell yourself that you know the guy who made it and you might get a discount. Marvelous pipe, buddy.

Working on a zulu. I'm fairly happy with it, for a first go at the shape.
