It really is. I'm sure you guys have pondered about this as well but what possessed someone to first cram some of this plant into a peice of tree and fire it up?

Same person who saw something fall out of a chickens rear end and eat it😝 Or the poor guy who found out what part of the artichoke not to eat! Nice thing about tobacco though is we can always grow more. May not be good but we can still grow more

These all seem to be “Here, hold my beer” moments from ancient history. Makes you wonder about the future though.

THAT'S some crazy sh!t. I'm glad they did, though. "Native Americans used lobsters to fertilize their crops and bait their fishing hooks. They also ate the abundant crustaceans, preparing them by covering them in seaweed and baking them over hot rocks. According to tradition, this cooking method inspired the classic New England clambake."

Smoking tobacco...consuming tobacco...means you are a vile, filthy, disgusting creature who cares neither for yourself or the delicate feelings of others.
So here, have some wine with your marijuana.

Went a long time being a tobacco hater due to growing up around cigs. Since starting my journey into piping I have cured myself of this and now love just about every tobacco I load into a pipe.
With the wise guidance of you aficionados, I have developed my palate and now hold a special place in my heart for tobacco and feel blessed to be able to share what I’ve learned with others.
Thanks Briarpatch, light’em up!

Tobacco leaves are to air what tea leaves are to water.

On topic, I love all things tobacco.
Not cigarettes... I'm not even sure if those count as tobacco anymore.

On topic, I love all things tobacco. Not cigarettes... I'm not even sure if those count as tobacco anymore. You're not lieing, I smoked cigarettes from 16-28 and finally just got sick of them. Tried dipping, vaping, anything I could to get away from them. Glad I settled on pipes and cigars and snuff.
