SM Frank or Wally Frank - Anyone a pipe Historian?

I knew the guy who would have known the answers and would have loved tell you all about it but he's dead and I miss him.(RIP)
All I can tell you is SM Frank owned those brands and I imagine Wally Frank probably had their name stamped on Thousands of pipes imported from Europe a month.
Bill from SM Frank might have some info but he'd rather sell you a new pipe that talk about some pipe they sold decades ago for a couple of bucks max.
