So I picked up a couple of tins of this stuff a few months ago on a whim and I cracked one open today. Holy Hell does this have a kick. I do not know why this hits me so hard but after a half bowl I was dizzy and light headed and had to stop. I thought maybe it had to do with being early in the day before lunch so I waited a day and tried it again, this time after lunch. Nope. Same thing. I like the flavor, but I may have to drop this down to a group 1 and just sip a half bowl at a time or something until my tolerance builds up. Has this happened to anyone else?

It's one of the strongest blends I know of.

This song came to mind.
University Flake is a great smoke, and the go to smoke for Peterson Pipe Club founder Jim Lilley. He had a stunning collection that he gifted to the company.
It is a good dizzy though.

I had no idea it was that potent.

One of my favorites, though not well represented in my cellar...;-(

I'm always amazed (well, almost always) at just how much better almost any reasonably good tobacco gets after some serious time in the cellar. The process of allowing the tobaccos to blend, marry, and mellow seems a tiny bit magical.

Only had it once or twice. Don't remember it being that strong, but could certainly be wrong. Wasn't bad, but not a go to. I much prefer Dunhill Flake (now Peterson Flake).
