Aluminum shank poker, a proof of concept that will not get a serial. Another not for sale, but I am ready to make one that is now! Stain it (Tan or burgundy) or leave it natural? Who can spot the obvious (to me) flaw in this one?

Who can spot the obvious (to me) flaw in this one? There seems to be a slight color change on a small spot of the rim of the bowl. Remember to take your time don't rush your your processes. Each step is just as important as the previous one. Work a little, inspect, work some more, inspect not happy with the results make a small change, inspect. As several people have said keep up the good work. Rocket

That's a beauty, Terry. The Anse isn't really my shape, but that's a lovely one. Nice work.

adding another "well done, great looker" to yet another great job by relative newbie to the pipemaking journey. Most know what happens with me if I attempt to use hand tools!

Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY Thanks Ed, as for hand tools and you; as long as you end up with all 10 fingers still attached and you enjoy the process its not so bad!

Well guys during the AZ pipe club meeting Terry put this little nose warmer on the table. It has a wonderful straight grain with a Grey and White ebonite stem. The length of the pipe is 4.125", inner bowl Dia 0.875", depth 0.875. Nice looking and felt good in the hand.
It is with a sad heart that I have to report Terry lost this pipe. But I am glad to report it was found in the possession of the new owner.
Sorry no pictures.

New work I have going that actually made it (almost) to finish. This one is spoken for assuming I do not nerf the stem finishing it out.
